Mountain Pow is a research-driven mountain guide published by Ebbline LLC. The goal is useful judgment with visible sources—not borrowed authority, pay-to-play rankings or pretending we have personally skied every mountain.
WHO WRITES THIS
The Mountain Pow editorial team builds and maintains the guides, tools and resort directory. Firsthand observations are identified when they are used. Most destination coverage is careful desk research from resort operators, pass companies, tourism organizations, public agencies and documented media sources.
HOW FACTS ARE CHECKED
Time-sensitive facts receive a source link and check date. A source ledger on each resort profile separates confirmed facts from historical reference and editorial interpretation. “Not verified” means exactly that; it is not a guess dressed up as certainty.
HOW EDITORIAL WORKS
Terrain DNA, “best for,” “skip if,” film selections and similar judgments are editorial. They are designed to help you decide, not to replace official safety information, live conditions, patrol direction or your own assessment.
HOW THE SITE IS FUNDED
Mountain Pow may promote other Ebbline LLC products or link to outside booking and pass sites. Cross-promotions are labeled, and an operator does not buy a favorable review or a higher editorial ranking. If paid advertising or affiliate relationships are added, this page and the privacy notice will say so.
