WHAT THE SIGNAL MEANS
A MODEL ESTIMATE, CLEARLY LABELED.
Snow Alerts use the same shared GeoMet snowfall forecast as the map. Check the resort’s mountain report for measured snowfall and open terrain.
- The notification identifies the reading as a model estimate.
- Stale, incomplete, or source-error reports are not eligible for delivery.
- Resort conditions and official mountain reports remain the final check.
