THE VIBE

Big Boulder is a terrain park-focused Pocono hill that punches well above its modest vertical. Known as one of the first ski areas in Pennsylvania, it has reinvented itself as a freestyle destination with a strong park setup under lights. It is what it is — a small hill — but for park laps and night sessions within driving range of Philly and NYC, it delivers.

Best For

  • ✓Terrain park riders
  • ✓Night skiing sessions
  • ✓Beginners learning the ropes

Skip If

  • ✗You want real mountain skiing
  • ✗You need more than a few hundred feet of vertical
