GETTING THERE

Nearest Airports

✈️
GVA
Geneva International
About 1–2 hours
drive time

Approximate planning ranges; allow extra time for traffic and winter conditions.

Geneva is a common airport gateway, with road transfers to the Chamonix valley. Rail access connects through Saint-Gervais on the Mont-Blanc Express. Within the valley, plan bus or train journeys around your chosen ski area. Ask your host for the guest card: it covers the Servoz–Vallorcine train section and offers bus-ticket discounts, but is not itself a bus ticket. Eligible valid Compagnie du Mont-Blanc lift passes include bus travel; check the product and route you will use.

OVERNIGHT STAYS & CAMPERVANS

For Chamonix Mont-Blanc, compare a booked room or rental around Chamonix with a designated campsite that accepts your vehicle and winter dates. Choose your base around the daily mountain journey and the power, water and indoor facilities you need.

Book a designated overnight place for your vehicle and dates. Day parking does not provide permission to camp.

🐕 PET POLICY

Historical pet-policy guidance.

Ask your accommodation about pet acceptance and confirm current dog rules with each lift, transport operator and route manager before traveling. Rules may differ by service and protected area.

Confirm rooms, fees and access rules with the property or resort before you travel. A pet-friendly area does not mean pets can use ski slopes or lifts.
