Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt. Norquay

SkiBig3 Snow School

Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt Norquay

Ski LessonsSnowboard LessonsPrivate LessonsGuiding

SkiBig3 offers private ski and snowboard instruction at Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt Norquay, with up to five participants and lift-line priority. It also connects learners with each resort’s first-timer, children’s and adult group programs.

Why we like it

A private group is useful when friends want coaching at the same resort on the same day. If you mainly want to find terrain rather than work on technique, compare the separate private guided-adventure option.

SkiBig3 Adventure Hub

114 Banff Avenue, Banff; 1350 Railway Avenue, Canmore

Rentals

The SkiBig3 Adventure Hub rents ski and snowboard equipment at 114 Banff Avenue, with a second hub at 1350 Railway Avenue in Canmore. Adult and children’s equipment spans intermediate, high-performance and premium categories.

Why we like it

Pick the hub that suits your lodging. In-room fitting is offered in Canmore; Banff hotel-concierge returns simplify departure, while Lake Louise guests must return gear to a hub.

Lake Louise Ski Resort Rentals

Lake Louise Ski Resort

Rentals

Lake Louise’s resort rental service offers high- and mid-performance skis for all-mountain, big-mountain and carving use. Ski packages include skis, boots and poles, with a helmet included in packages for children 12 and under.

Why we like it

Choose the performance level for your ability and the terrain you plan to ski. Damage protection is a separate option, and clothing and snowboard rentals are available through the resort’s rental service.

Pro Tip: Book Early

Lessons and rentals at popular resorts often book up quickly, especially during peak season and holidays. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred times.

Three separate mountain schedules

Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt. Norquay have their own seasons. Choose the mountain as well as the travel date; one opening or closing date cannot describe all three.

Individual listings retain their own sources and check dates. A source check covers only the named details; it does not confirm availability. Snowfall averages describe climate, not a forecast.

The 7,948-acre figure is a combined total for three separate mountains. Choose between Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt. Norquay using their individual terrain and schedules; elevation, snowfall and terrain percentages are not one shared mountain statistic.
