Cabin Kitchen + Bar (formerly Globe)

5375 Big White Road, Big White

The operator page still labels its posted hours as summer hours; confirm winter service before visiting.

Name and listing history

Globe became Cabin Kitchen + Bar under longtime chef and owner Ross Derrick in the same space. Big White announced the rebrand in October 2025, and the former Globe website now presents Cabin.

🍔Casual🍺Après Bar

Chef-owner Ross Derrick’s restaurant focuses on Canadian comfort food, with Alberta beef and bison, Okanagan produce and coastal seafood influences. It offers a warm setting for a family meal or a drink after skiing.

Why We Like It

The regional ingredients and welcoming room make this a natural choice for a relaxed mountain evening. Check the seasonal menu before choosing a particular dish.
