Ski LessonsSnowboard LessonsPrivate LessonsKids ProgramsAdaptive

Big White’s Ski & Board School offers children’s groups by age and ability, adult and teen instruction, private lessons and adaptive programs. Children’s half-day groups include ages 4–5 for skiing and ages 6–12 for skiing or snowboarding; full-day groups for ages 6–12 include hot lunch.

Why we like it

Check in at the Kids Centre at least 15 minutes before a child’s lesson. Lift tickets and rentals are separate from these group lessons, and helmets are mandatory for participants 18 and under.

Pro Tip: Book Early

Lessons and rentals at popular resorts often book up quickly, especially during peak season and holidays. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred times.
