Castle Mountain Day Lodge

Base area, Castle Mountain

🌯Quick Bite🍔Casual

Castle’s Day Lodge Cafeteria provides a base-area food stop near the lifts. It is separate from the nearby T-Bar Pub; choose the cafeteria for a mountain-day break and consult the winter service schedule.

Why We Like It

The base-area location keeps a food break close to the skiing. It suits a straightforward stop during the mountain day, with the current menu available from the resort.

Closed during the published October 12–December 3 fall interval; check Castle’s winter cafeteria hours before visiting.

T-Bar Pub & Grub

Castle Mountain base area, near the Day Lodge

🍺Après Bar⭐Locals' Favorite

Castle’s longtime après pub serves hand-stretched pizza, burgers and bowls alongside local craft beer, cider and mixed drinks. The building began as a maintenance shop and later housed the rental shop.

Why We Like It

Pizza and a pint fit naturally after a ski day, and the old mountain-workshop setting gives the pub its character.

Try: Hand-stretched pizza

Seasonal operation; under-18s are welcome until 9 pm. Check the resort’s current hours before visiting.

The Rum Runner

Coleman, Crowsnest Pass, Alberta

🍔Casual⭐Locals' Favorite

A family restaurant and pub in Coleman with a prohibition-era theme, a dog-friendly patio and a selection of draft beer. Plan this as a Crowsnest Pass stop rather than a meal in Pincher Creek.

Why We Like It

The all-ages dining room and kids menu work for a mixed group stopping in Coleman before or after the mountain.

Earlier guide details

Earlier menu idea: House burger with Alberta beef. Choose from the restaurant’s current menu when you visit.

Castle reports more than 115 trails. Its seven listed lifts include chairlifts, a T-bar and a carpet. Vertical drop is the resort-reported figure; rounded base and summit elevations can give a slightly different subtraction.
