Castle Mountain Ski School
Castle Mountain Resort Snow School
Castle offers ski and snowboard groups, private lessons and family privates. Little Castle Club serves ages 3–5 with no more than three children per instructor; children’s groups serve ages 6–13. Beginner and Next Step packages include lift access and rental equipment.
Why we like it
Allow at least an hour before a package lesson to check in and get fitted. Family privates work for three to six participants of similar ability, with skiing and snowboarding booked separately.

Alpenland at Castle Mountain
Castle Mountain Resort main base area
Alpenland operates Castle Mountain’s slopeside rental and repair shop in the main base area. Ski packages include skis, bindings, boots, poles and a helmet; snowboard packages include a board, bindings, boots and helmet. High-performance equipment, cross-country packages and snowshoes are also listed.
Why we like it
The base-area shop keeps fittings and workshop help close to the slopes. An afternoon rental starts at 12:30, useful if your first day begins after lunch.

Pro Tip: Book Early
Lessons and rentals at popular resorts often book up quickly, especially during peak season and holidays. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred times.
