THE FOOD SCENE

At the summit, Sky House has table service at The Nest and quicker winter lunches at Red Hawk Café. In the village, Chimney Rock Grill gives families room to sit together. Down in Sandpoint, choose Trinity at City Beach for a lakeside meal, The Hydra for steaks and seafood, or Evans Brothers for coffee and breakfast at the roastery.

APRÈS-SKI & NIGHTLIFE

Taps at Lakeview Lodge is the village’s adults-only après stop, with pool tables, a dance floor and scheduled winter entertainment. For mixed-age groups, meet instead at Chimney Rock Grill. Arrange a ride down the mountain if dinner is in Sandpoint.
