In town, the Galloping Goose serves local stops. The free passenger gondola connects Telluride and Mountain Village when operating, with bus service during seasonal maintenance. For fall 2026 the town lists its gondola closure through November 19.

Several pet-friendly hotels, vacation rentals, and restaurants with outdoor patios accommodate dogs. The Telluride Town Park allows leashed dogs.
