GETTING THERE

Nearest Airports

✈️
EGE
Eagle County Regional
About 20–40 minutes
drive time
✈️
DEN
Denver International
About 1.5–2.5 hours
drive time

Approximate planning ranges; allow extra time for traffic and winter conditions.

Eagle County Regional Airport offers the shorter valley transfer; Denver International Airport offers more flight choices with a longer I-70 journey. Compare an arranged airport transfer with driving, allowing plenty of margin for winter weather and traffic.

Choose between village garages and the lower Elk or Bear parking lots. The lower lots connect to the village by shuttle; check the current parking charges and service arrangements. Avon’s town buses also serve the Elk Lot. The Riverfront Express is a separate access option near the Westin in Avon, not a gondola at the Elk Lot.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch

hotel · Ski-in/ski-out

Twenty-one thousand square feet of spa - hot and cold plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms, year-round heated outdoor pool overlooking the slopes. That's where you go after skiing. A luxury ski-in/ski-out base in Bachelor Gulch. Bachelor Gulch setting feels more exclusive than the main Village - quieter, more secluded, celebrities hiding from paparazzi territory. WYLD for Colorado mountain cuisine, SAKABA for Japanese. Pilates and yoga studios, 24-hour slopeside fitness center. Five-star and ski-in/ski-out rarely coexist; this is the combination.

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa

hotel · Ski-in/ski-out at Village base

A ski-in/ski-out stay in Beaver Creek Village - walk out to two chairlifts, walk back to the famous free chocolate chip cookies they hand out at 3pm. Newly refreshed for 2025, so the rooms don't have the dated feel of older properties. One hundred ninety-three rooms including suites with kitchenettes and fireplaces. Thirty-thousand-square-foot spa. Ski school is right there for kids. The Ritz has the spa edge; the Hyatt has the Village convenience edge. For families who want central location plus ski-in/ski-out, this is it.

The Osprey

hotel · Steps from the lifts

Modern mountain style meets boutique luxury - The Osprey is the intimate alternative to the big resorts. Contemporary design, steps from the lifts, an elevated ski getaway feel that 500-room hotels can't achieve. Pool, spa, hot tub. Perfect for couples or small groups who want quality over quantity, design sense over resort scale. Not for large groups; boutique means smaller. But if you appreciate style and don't need endless amenities, The Osprey delivers something different.

Comfort Inn Vail/Beaver Creek

hotel · Free shuttle to Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek’s roughly 2,100 acres and legendary grooming at Comfort Inn prices - the free shuttle gets you there, hot breakfast fills you up before skiing, indoor pool and hot tub handle après. In Avon, not Beaver Creek, which means you're not paying for the Beaver Creek address. The same slopes as Ritz guests ski, the same corduroy, the same cookies at 3pm - just without the five-star room rate. Free parking, reliable chain quality. The budget Beaver Creek play.

OVERNIGHT STAYS & CAMPERVANS

For Beaver Creek, compare a booked room or rental around Avon with a designated campsite that accepts your vehicle and winter dates. Choose your base around the daily mountain journey and the power, water and indoor facilities you need.

Compare lodging options ↗

Book a designated overnight place for your vehicle and dates. Day parking does not provide permission to camp.

🐕 PET POLICY

Historical pet-policy guidance.

Pets are not permitted on the mountain, lifts, or in resort buildings. Beaver Creek Village has limited pet-friendly accommodations. Several pet-sitting and boarding services operate in the Vail Valley. The resort is generally less pet-accommodating than many Colorado mountains.

Confirm rooms, fees and access rules with the property or resort before you travel. A pet-friendly area does not mean pets can use ski slopes or lifts.
