GETTING THERE

arrival planning

Approximate planning ranges; allow extra time for traffic and winter conditions.

Choose the CMH destination before booking flights. CMH uses Calgary and Kelowna as gateways, with different arrival arrangements for different lodges and helipads. There is no single airport-to-resort driving time for the whole operation.

CMH’s travel page lists escorted coach transport for many trips, with Purcell and Kootenay identified as exceptions where guests arrange their own transport. Private transfers and charter options can be arranged separately. Use the travel instructions for your selected trip to confirm the gateway, meeting point, luggage arrangements and inclusions.

CMH Revelstoke — Regent Hotel base

hotel · Regent Hotel in downtown Revelstoke; heli-ski and resort transfers depend on the booked program

A hot tub, massage, exercise equipment and guest laundry add comfort between heli-ski days. The downtown base also makes it practical to arrange resort skiing when weather grounds helicopters; confirm what your package covers.

Name and listing history

The legacy CMH Revelstoke Lodge record describes CMH’s Revelstoke accommodation program. The current operator explicitly identifies the Regent Hotel as its base; it is not a newly built remote CMH lodge.

TRIP ACCOMMODATION

Plan accommodation as part of the booked heli-ski trip. Lodge or hotel arrangements depend on the destination and package; compare the selected trip’s setting, facilities and inclusions.

If arriving in a camper, arrange any before- or after-trip overnight stay separately with a designated property. This guide does not rate heli trips as campervan destinations.

🐕 PET POLICY

Historical pet-policy guidance.

Pets are not permitted on heli-skiing operations.

Confirm rooms, fees and access rules with the property or resort before you travel. A pet-friendly area does not mean pets can use ski slopes or lifts.

A single base, summit, and vertical do not apply across CMH's multi-lodge heli-ski terrain.

CMH’s lodge meal program starts with freshly made breakfast and pocket snacks for the heli-pad. Lunch is flown out to the ski group in the mountains, and tea-goodie service welcomes guests back before a multi-course dinner. The menu reflects each chef’s choices. Discuss dietary needs when booking so the team can plan alternatives; an allergen-free setting is not guaranteed. Arrangements vary by destination. CMH Revelstoke stays at the downtown Regent Hotel, where CMH meals are served in the 112 Restaurant and Lounge. Evening mealtimes are flexible, with group meals on arrival and departure days. Use the itinerary for your chosen trip when making separate dining plans.

Evenings depend on your CMH destination. At a backcountry lodge, plan around the lodge meal service and the facilities listed for that location. CMH Revelstoke has a different rhythm: its Regent Hotel base is in the walkable historic downtown, with shopping and dining nearby. The hotel has a hot tub, massage, exercise equipment and guest laundry. CMH meals use the 112 Restaurant and Lounge, with flexible evening mealtimes. Check the selected trip’s inclusions before arranging separate dining or activities.
