Fernie Alpine Resort Snow School
Fernie Alpine Resort, 5339 Ski Hill Road
Fernie’s Winter Sports School teaches skiing and snowboarding from first turns through expert terrain. Its ability charts distinguish six levels, including progression into moguls, powder, off-piste and freeride skills; children’s, adult and adaptive programs are listed separately.
Why we like it
Use the ability chart before choosing a program, particularly if moving from groomed runs into the bowls. The school’s sales team can help match a family’s different levels and goals.

Pro Tip: Book Early
Lessons and rentals at popular resorts often book up quickly, especially during peak season and holidays. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your preferred times.
